After my aborted lunch at the Granary (lost my appetite), I went and got a sandwich at a bagel place. And came across this sign:

Where to begin?

1) Has anyone ever ordered these two items together? Ever?
2) I tried to come up with a less appetizing combo: Brisket and beef jerky? Pudding and mayonnaise?
3) The price. On what planet is $3.75 a bargain for a bagel with cream cheese and a sugar cookie? What does it cost to make a sugar cookie anyway? A nickel? Okay, maybe a dime, but not much more. How good does that cream cheese need to be to make this a worthwhile purchase?

I think I may price this combo out at various locations in Billings to see just how much money you can save by going to the bagel place downtown and ordering the two together. I'll get back to you.
